Our Terrific Toddler Courses are specially tailored for parents with children 12 months to 3 ½ years old.
These are run by two qualified early childhood educators from Nelson Tasman Kindergartens, and are supported by our Terrific Toddler Facilitator and a host. The courses explore strategies for managing and promoting good behaviour, play ideas and activities you can easily do at home as well as ways to engage toddlers plus much more. Each course is 2 consecutive Thursday evenings, (7pm – 9pm) in Nelson.
All parents, grandparents, caregivers, educators are welcome along to our Terrific Toddler Courses. The courses are a great way to get together with friends or to make new friends with people who have or care for children of the same age, to share experiences and gain support. The formation of parent support networks are encouraged (eg; coffee meet ups!).
The overview below outlines the scheduled speakers for each of the two sessions during the course. Please note that on occasion the speakers may change the order of their sessions, depending on their availability. The courses do generally follow the schedule below.
